Looks like someone transposed some letters for the lineage.
It should be Marantz PMD-430. My friend Dick had one. It was Marantz's equivalent of the Sony D5.

travelled from North Az to cali for these with my sister. roadtrippin in the ol 72 bug, overnight nonstop drive fueled by caffine and nicotine. beautiful weather, people were amazing..just another day on tour,,blissful days..boys sounded great, song selections were fun and like a backyard summer party at your friends house..miss these days so much..

Phenomenal show with particularly tight playing from everybody. The Senns capture the show in a perfectly full manner (for another example of these in action, see Silberman's recording of 10/21/83). This recording is much clearer than the others available for this show, where I personally have issues sorting through the instruments as they sound fairly jumbled and not very separated (my .02). Check out this whole show, it's got a very Rivery, Adventury feel to it. You'll know what I mean, just give it a whirl.
5 for Recording
5 for Performance
P.S.: Pocky>Playin'>Rider>Terrapin is the definite highlight. Quite a headlight delivery and instrumental follow up by Jer in the Rider.
